Laser/IPL Safety Glasses
We can provide a range of laser and IPL safety glasses which comply with the current CE regulations.
IPL Shade 3 Glasses
These are Shade 3 IPL safety glasses for use with most modern IPL systems. They protect from 190nm up to 2000nm and can fit over standard spectacles.

£92.45 +P&P
Diode Laser Glasses
These glasses offer an Optical Density protection level above 7 and may be used with most modern diode lasers (808 and 810nm) in aesthetics.

£157.15 +P&P
QS Nd:YAG Laser Glasses
The above glasses may be used with a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and offer protection at above OD7 for both the 1064nm wavelength and the 532nm wavelength.

£173.31 +P&P
Triple Wavelength Laser Glasses
These glasses offer a protection level above OD7 for three wavelengths - 755, 810 (and 808) and 1064nm. They may be used with modern 'triple wavelength diode' lasers used in aesthetics.

£185.55 +P&P
Ruby Laser Glasses
These glasses are used for the 694nm wavelength of the Q-switched ruby laser. They offer protection up to OD7+ at that wavelength.

Total Occluders
These are worn by patients/clients to block out all light - laser or IPL. They offer a protection level greater than OD7.

Note that they CANNOT be used for treatments on the eyes!

Protection Level
The protection level in laser safety glasses is determined by its 'optical density'. This is the optical 'thickness' of the glasses which reduces the amount of light which can reach the eyes to an acceptable level.

It depends greatly on the wavelength, so you need to be sure you choose the correct glasses for your equipment. You may need more than one set if your device delivers a range of wavelengths - which quite common these days.
